Mish Mash Presents: Scenes from my yard...

Some California sunshine.

Orange Blossom.

Messy Petunias (and some lavender and a butterfly bush).

Marigolds that I still need to plant.

A Red Rose. I didn't know what color the roses were on this bush, because last summer I didn't see any! I think I brought the bush back to life!! I rule.

How much is that Bogey in the window? Priceless.

Okay, is Bogey even real?! Look at him! He's on fire, baby! He's such a superstar, I can't take it anymore! Just give him to me already! Sorry for all the exclamation marks! But, look at him! I'm weak!

:)

Damn, I wish we had sunshine here! Nothing but rain for the next few days.

and a serial killer with the shears....priceless.

How funny! It does look like shears, but I was just holding up the "Peace" sign!

How sad...I was excited that my bulb flowers had finally sprouted leaves but you've already got roses on the bush!

Bogey's posture/pose in that picture is too perfect!

Bogey's got "you lookin' at me!?" look on his face.

Your yard seems like a fine place to be. Mine is all muddy BUT we have sun today so I won't complain.

That blue sky is unreal! It's been too long since I've seen a cloudless day. But dirty and I, we'll have sun soon and it will be even better coming with superhigh humidity. So there!

...sigh...Ohio...

It would be fun to have an orange tree. I'd say I want one, but then I would have to move to California. The state is pretty nice, its the Californians (present company excluded of course) that I don't think I would like.

I don't really consider myself a Californian. I grew up in Colorado. And we don't plan on staying here our whole lives...

I've lived here for about 6 years now, and it's finally starting to grow on me. The weather is certainly beautiful, and there are some amazing places to see and things to do (if I'd get off my ass and do them). But I'm a Colorado girl all the way :)
